Who is this course for? The International General Certificate is designed for managers, supervisors and employees and their representatives based outside the UK. Currently it is being offered across the world including the Middle East, the West Indies, Southeast Asia and Ireland.
The ? day course covers: It focuses on international standards and management systems to provide a broad understanding of H&S responsibilities in all parts of the world. Country specific legislation may be covered but will not be examined. NEBOSH is widely recognised as the leading health and safety qualification in many parts of the world.
How is the course assessed? The syllabus covers a wide range of health and safety issues including, Unit IGC1 The Management of International Health and Safety, Unit IGC2 The Control of International Workplace Hazards and Unit IGC3 Health and Safety practical application. There are two written exams and 1 practical exam to complete the course.
Benefits for Employers Completion of the certificate can lead to Technician Membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Associate Membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
